First established in 1840, rich in history this landmark is one of South Australia’s oldest historical licensed premises. Fast forward 175 years and we welcome you to the recently renovated, smart, stylish and sophisticated venue locally known as The Bushy’s.
Our mission is to source and serve your family with fresh restaurant quality food at pub prices in a enjoyable relaxed atmosphere. Built in the 1840's by Architect Robert Robertson, The Old Bushman Hotel was paramount to establishing the early development of Gawler and is one of the towns' earliest buildings.
The Old Bushman Hotel has undergone extensive renovations and is now looking better than ever Gawler's NEW Steakhouse. The Old Bushman's is a family owned hotel and we pride ourselves on the quality of our food. Over the last 6 months whilst we've been busy working on the appearance of the hotel, our Chef has been equally busy creating, testing, tasting and refining our exciting New Steakhouse menu. Along with well-established favourites we are proud to now offer locally produced Certified Australian Angus Beef, Grass-fed Angus Pure and the Multi-award winning 1824 Premium Beef.
