A mechanical watch contains on average 150 parts, some of which experience high forces on a continuous basis. To keep the performance of your watch at its best and prevent wear and tear, it will need to be regularly serviced: usually every three to five years. If you’re unsure about when your watch needs servicing or have a problem with your watch that needs repair, we can help.

Like a car, a mechanical watch needs to be lubricated regularly to keep it running smoothly. Over time, the oil will deteriorate and friction between the movement's part will increase, causing abrasion and making the watch less accurate. In addition, the friction can create a very fine dust that will itself act as an abrasive on the watch movement parts.
