We offer a quotation service where the watch movement is removed from the case and partially disassembled. A written report is provided on the state of the watch, and the work required to restore the watch is detailed. Full rebuilds are offered to restore important pieces with conservation as the main focus. Complete restoration may include: case rebuilds, dial restoration, flat polishing, bluing, wheel cutting, jeweling/bushing, and component manufacture. Every possible option is explored to source old stock and genuine parts for restorations.
All major restorations are returned to you along with a report of the work carried out, including before and after photos for your records. Where possible, reports will include a brief historical summary of the watch type and manufacture.
We service and overhaul modern, complicated and vintage mechanical watches. We offer service for early electro mechanical, tunning fork and Quartz watches repaired; Atmos Clock servicing; where applicable, we will deal directly with the the official service centre for the servicing of your timepiece; waterproof testing: both dry electronic and wet tests available; and battery fitting, resealing and Quartz watch testing.
